Welcome to Seven Hills

Case Studies

Seven Hills devised and led MADE: The Entrepreneur Festival 2011, the UK’s pre-eminent festival for entrepreneurs which in its second year welcomed over 2,000 entrepreneurs to the city of Sheffield.

After the festival’s successful inaugural year in 2010, Seven Hills once again brought together entrepreneurs from all over Britain to connect with each other and share their ideas at the event in partnership with joint venture partner Marketingsheffield.

Seven Hills secured an impressive line up of headline speakers, including Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills Rt Hon Dr Vince Cable MP, Minister of State for Business and Enterprise Mark Prisk MP, Dragons’ Den panellist Peter Jones CBE, founder of Gü Puds James Averdieck, Brompton Bicycle CEO Will Butler-Adams, founder of Ariadne Capital Julie Meyer, founder of Coffee Nation Martyn Dawes, founder of Ella’s Kitchen Paul Lindley and founder of Caxton FX, Rupert Lee Browne.

Seven Hills led a hard hitting campaign which generated widespread coverage including major features in the Financial Times, Mail on Sunday, Wall Street Journal, The Independent, CNBC and The Yorkshire Post which used Rupert Lee Browne’s description of MADE as the Davos for entrepreneurs.

Seven Hills also partnered with East Midlands trains to host the official launch of the Entrepreneur Express at St Pancras and unveiled the newly-named train on the first day of MADE at St Pancras station with The Apprentice stars Claire Young, Paloma Vivanco, Melody Hossaini and Dr Shibby Robati. The exclusive East Midlands train took some of Britain’s leading entrepreneurs, business media and policy makers from London to Sheffield for the festival.

Returning to MADE after attending the inaugural event in 2010, The Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills Rt Hon Dr Vince Cable MP said:
“I thought it was such an exciting event and so positive that I wanted to come back again. There is real energy here.”
