MADE: The Entrepreneur FestivalThe UK's premier entrepreneur festival
In September 2010, Seven Hills launched the UK’s first festival for entrepreneurs, MADE: The Entrepreneur Festival.
Seven Hills originated the idea for MADE with Creativesheffield and delivered something very special from nothing. It brought to bear all of the agency’s core skills namely, campaigns, communications and connections.
Created from ground zero, Seven Hills developed the four-day festival that swiftly became one of the key events on the national business calendar, attracting 1,500 figures from business, government, media and diplomacy to Sheffield.
Secretary of State for Business, The Rt. Hon Dr Vince Cable MP officially launched the festival with Dragons’ Den panellist Peter Jones CBE.
VIP guests including Minister for Business and Enterprise Mark Prisk MP; Rachel Bridge, the Sunday Times Enterprise Editor; Wilfred Emmanuel Jones, The Black Farmer; and Lara Morgan, founder of Pacific Direct, whoattended four days of debates, VIP dinners and talks.
MADE: The Entrepreneur Festival is now the pre-eminent festival for entrepreneurs and will run into its second year in September 2011.
The festival will welcome over 2,000 delegates to Sheffield to attend a series of high profile events with speakers including Secretary of State for Business, Rt Hon Dr Vince Cable MP, Minister of State for Business and Enterprise Mark Prisk MP, Peter Jones CBE, founder of Risk Capital Partners, Luke Johnson, founder of Ella’s Kitchen Paul Lindley and founder of Ariadne Capital Julie Meyer.
