StartUp Britain: UK TourStartUp Britain hits the Road
StartUp Britain, the national campaigning initiative for early stage businesses, was supported by Seven Hills in a major nationwide tour UK cities to celebrate, inspire and accelerate Britain’s start-up talent.
Throughout August and September, StartUp Britain used a branded battle bus to visit 14 regions across the country with the aim of encouraging more people to start and grow their own business. Locations included Brighton, Cambridge, Cardiff, Birmingham, Bristol, Sheffield, Nottingham, Sunderland and York.
Seven Hills led on an innovative media and social media campaign to drive awareness about the tour.
The tour was joined by StartUp Britain’s founding sponsors: AXA, Barclays, Dell, Intel, Intuit, Microsoft, MITIE and PayPal, who will each be giving specialist business advice and discounts to entrepreneurs across the UK.
Emma Jones, co-founder and interim chief executive of StartUp Britain, said:
"This tour allows us to take StartUp Britain across Britain. The bus will travel from north to south and east to west loaded with business experts, start-up advice and valuable offers."
Seven Hills leads on awareness campaigns for StartUp Britain, which was launched in March by the Prime Minister at Microsoft HQ in London. Seven Hills co-founder, Michael Hayman, is a co-founder of the campaign.
