Michael Hayman, co-founder of Seven Hills is one of the co-founders of StartUp Britain, a new campaign by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, launched on 28th March 2011.

Designed to celebrate, inspire and accelerate enterprise in the UK, it is fully supported by Prime Minister David Cameron and HM Government.

StartUp Britain is a totally new and unprecedented campaign for business. Seven Hills is at the heart of the campaign and spearheaded the launch in March which was attended by the Prime Minister, the Rt Hon David Cameron MP and the Rt Hon George Osborne MP, Chancellor of the Exchequer.

The Prime Minister said at the launch, "We put out a call to business to rise up and help us drive the recovery and StartUp Britain is part of the answer to that call."

In addition, Seven Hills secured influential entrepreneurs as speakers at the event including Peter Jones, Duncan Bannatyne, Doug Richard and Anya Hindmarch.

StartUp Britain is funded by the private sector and Seven Hills has helped secure support from leading brands such as Barclays, BlackBerry, Experian, Intuit, Microsoft, McKinsey & Co and Virgin Media.

Seven Hills has led the media campaign around the StartUp Britain nationwide bus tour, which has travelled to 14 locations from Bristol to Glasgow, London to York.

The campaign continues to achieve widespread media coverage from Sunday Times, Daily Telegraph, Financial Times, BBC, ITV and Sky News.
