global goalscast is go!

Campaign aims to inspire action on United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

Global GoalsCast, the podcast that inspires and empowers listeners to make the world a better place by sharing the stories that are advancing a more sustainable world, was launched this morning by its founders Claudia Romo Edelman, Special Advisor to UNICEF, and Edie Lush, Executive Editor at Hub Culture.

The packed event at The Club at The Ivy was hosted by Dow Jones, with William Lewis, CEO, and the former BBC News Director, James Harding.

Seven Hills has been working with Global GoalsCast on the London leg of the world-wide launch, and our co-founder Michael Hayman MBE was one of the moderators for the morning.

Commenting on the launch, Michael Hayman said “Seven Hills was thrilled to support Claudia and Edie and bring to life the aspirations of the Global GoalsCast in London and the UK.

“It’s a superb initiative, which we are very proud to support, and it stands to extend the reach of a critical message to an enormous audience in a very accessible way”.

The joint audiences of all GoalsCast partners could reach more than 100 million people.

Commenting on the podcast, Claudia Romo Edelman said: “Our job in Global GoalsCast is to tell you the stories of one of the most remarkable combined efforts in human history. 193 nations have set goals for 12 years from now, ranging from ending extreme poverty to fighting climate change and making the world a better place.’
