Michael Hayman and Nick Giles at LSE

how business can be a force for good: a full house gathers at lse

This week Michael Hayman and Nick Giles drew a full house at the prestigious London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) as part of the university’s public lecture series.

Chaired by Department of Economics lecturer, Dr Erik Eyster, the Seven Hills co-founders were invited to discuss their new book, MISSION: How the Best in Business Break Through, and show how companies such as Airbnb, Ellas Kitchen and Whole Foods are harnessing purpose as the path to profit.

The event drew an audience of 250 aspiring entrepreneurs, business leaders and summer students, keen to discuss how businesses with a mission and campaigning are succeeding.

If you are interested in finding out more, Michael Hayman, an LSE alumnus, explores how to create an audience that wants to listen in his new blog; In Pursuit of the Remarkable.

If you were unable to attend the event, you can catch up by listening to the podcast here. The presentation slides and The Voices of Mission video with John Mackey are also available to view here. To purchase your copy of MISSION: How the Best in Business Break Through head to Amazon.
