Seven Hills was delighted to support the 2018 Innovate Finance Global Summit, which took place this week at London’s Guildhall and Grocers’ Hall.
By working closely with its 250+ members, Innovate Finance aims to promote enabling policy and regulation, talent development, and business opportunity and investment into UK FinTech, whilst showcasing the achievements of the sector and its members on a global stage.
Its annual summit brings together leading entrepreneurs, big banks and technology giants to develop the ideas that will shape a generation. The event celebrates every aspect of the FinTech sector with two days of exciting discussions, keynotes and competitions showcasing the best of British and global FinTech.
Sessions this year covered topics from regulation, to AI and machine learning, to FinTech capital.
The event featured over 200 speakers, including the Rt Hon. Sir Nick Clegg, City of London Corporation Policy and Resources Committee Chairman Catherine McGuinness and the Rt Hon. Nicky Morgan, MP, alongside pioneers from the FinTech sector such as GoCardless CEO Hiroki Takeuchi, and Revolut CEO Nikolay Storonsky.
The summit culminated with Pitch 360 – an exhilarating pitching competition which saw RegTech firm Exate Technology win the top prize of £10,000.
