Small Business Saturday Celebrates 100 UK Small Businesses

Small Business Saturday, the UK’s biggest small business campaign, today hosted its annual ‘Blue Tie’ event at The Church of St Andrew, Holborn.

The grassroots campaign celebrates the UK’s small business community and encourages consumers to ‘shop local’ and support small enterprises in their communities. It is supported by government, big business and over 80 per cent of the country’s local authorities.

Small Business Saturday takes place on the first Saturday in December each year, but the campaign aims to have a lasting impact on small businesses throughout the year.

In the run-up to Small Business Saturday, the campaign will launch its iconic national bus tour. Visiting 29 different towns and cities, the bus tour will begin in Dundee on 23 October and end in Brighton on 24 November.

Seven Hills is supporting Small Business Saturday as it celebrates its 5th anniversary.
