The Seven Hills team gathered today for the latest instalment in the Spotlight series, which sees client teams talk about recent work and achievements.
Today’s session focused on One Young World: the global forum for young leaders aged 18-30 that empowers them to make lasting connections and develop solutions to some of the world’s most pressing issues.
Seven Hills has worked with One Young World for more than seven years, providing press and logistical support for summits that have taken place in Durban, Bangkok and, most recently, Bogotá.
Seven Hills’ very own Becky and Sophie recalled their work in Colombia with great fondness, which included securing journalists and media coverage from: Quartz, Vice, Newsweek, Press Association, SABC, The Guardian, BBC Online and BBC World Service.
The Seven Hills team conducted 150 interviews across the four day forum in Colombia, with highlights ranging from a press conference featuring Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos to a live interview with entertainer and activist Cher.
We look forward to working with One Young World in 2018, when the Summit moves to the Hague, and the opportunity to learn from the next Spotlight session.
