AWEurope 2022 is a hit in London’s West End 

Advertising Week Europe (AWEurope) returned to Picturehouse Central, London, for its first in-person event in three years. AWEurope is Europe’s largest gathering of the creative, entertainment, media and technology industries. The event provides a platform to explore the big issues affecting society, business and everything in between.

This years three-day event featured a star-studded line up from across the entertainment and advertising industries;

  • TV icons Ant & Dec were on stage discussing their approach to the creative process, partnerships with brands, and their future ambitions for their production studio
  • BBC Radio 1 presenter Clara Amfo, TikTok star Francis Bourgeois, and comedian Munya Chawawa, spoke about receiving their big break, creating content that resonates with Gen Z audiences, and their experience collaborating with brands – what works and what doesn’t
  • As well as marketing and advertising heavyweights including Amazon Ads, Charlotte Tilbury, Uber and more where conversations centred around London as Europe’s creative capital and explored how branding intercepts with a variety of topics including the metaverse and diversity and inclusion

AWEurope’s own research released during the week, which set the backdrop for discussions around important issues affecting both consumers and brands, namely Ad Net Zero, EU temporary equivalence and the impact that the ongoing cost of living crisis is having on consumer behaviour.

The Seven Hills team is proud to have led on comms for the seventh year running and secured top coverage in Bloomberg, The Independent, ITV News and Stylist. The team also secured broadcast slots for Advertising Week’s Global President Ruth Mortimer on BBC World Business, London Live and Sky News throughout the week.
