Seven Hills works closely with Grant Thornton, the professional services firm, to plan and deliver various streams of its Vibrant Economy-related activity.

Grant Thornton is seeking to stimulate the ideas and actions that will help a vibrant economy develop in the UK – one that realises the shared potential of businesses, cities, people and communities across the country.

To do so, Seven Hills has worked with Grant Thornton on a huge variety of projects: from working dinners that sparked conversations and actions about how prosperity can be shared and trust rebuilt across the UK, to gathering a community of inspiring leaders, the 100 Faces of a Vibrant Economy, selected for their commitment to more than just economic growth, and a new index that ranks English towns and cities on factors that enable businesses, communities and individuals to thrive.

Other projects include the Live Labs, day-long events that gather a city’s champions to address a single question central to unlocking its potential and the Vibrant Economy Commission, a group of leaders drawn from the private, public and third sectors that play a leading role seeking the ideas and actions that could shape a vibrant economy.

At a time of major social, economic and political change, the Vibrant Economy message has resonated across sectors and across the country. With the Vibrant Economy Index, thought-provoking events and opinion editorials placed with national newspapers, Grant Thornton has positioned itself at the heart of this change.

More than 700 guests have attended Vibrant Economy events, which have been held in more than 10 cities across the country. Over 50 expert blogs are hosted on the Vibrant Economy microsite, 100 Faces of a Vibrant Economy have been celebrated and 99 million Twitter impressions have been made.

Seven Hills continues to work with Grant Thornton in relation to its Vibrant Economy activity, assisting and advising on everything from securing media coverage to content creation and event delivery.
