Lord Bilimoria

cobra beer founder offers funding advice to entrepreneurs

Seven Hills client Lord Bilimoria this week delivered a keynote speech at the Business Funding Show in London, recounting some of the most significant moments in his journey with Cobra Beer and offering his advice to entrepreneurs looking for funding to grow their business.

The Cobra Beer founder, who was recently appointed Chair of the Cambridge Judge Business School, told a packed audience how he started out in business with a clear mission: ‘To brew the finest Indian beer and make it a global brand’.

To achieve this, Lord Bilimoria and his business partner set out to fulfil their breakthrough strategy to raise the profile of the Cobra brand, launching a striking bottle design and securing close partnerships with high street curry restaurants, distributors and funding partners.

Lord Bilimoria was speaking at the Business Funding Show alongside a host of speakers from leading brands and organisations including the British Business Bank, Innocent Drinks, JUST EAT, UK Business Angels Association, Angel’s Den and Crowdcube.
