Yesterday Matt Hancock, Minister for Digital, formally launched the UK Cyber Demonstration Centre at Level39, the heart of the tech community at Canary Wharf.
The government-backed centre is set to become the home of UK cyber start-ups, providing SME’s with the opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities and services to potential clients and international markets.
Some of the most successful cyber start-ups were present, including Digital Shadows. Representatives from government departments were also in attendance, alongside George Iacobescu CBE, the chairman and CEO of Canary Wharf Group.
The event was chaired by Michael Hayman, co-founder of Seven Hills, with Ben Brabyn, Head of Level39. Both provided opening remarks on the importance of supporting the UK’s cyber security.
The Seven Hills team were on hand to oversee all elements of the launch, as well as securing coverage in UKTN to profile the UK Cyber Demonstration Centre.
