Seven Hills is delighted to announce our partnership with Beluga Bean, a wellbeing agency pioneering new strategies for success in business and life.  We have worked for the past 12 months with their BeYourSelf programme, which improves individual self-awareness and team cohesion.

Alongside the challenges of two years facing the pandemic and ever-changing work patterns, the complex crisis of wellbeing at work demands the attention of businesses who want to succeed.

Led by Planet Organic founder Renée Elliott and the experienced executive life coach Sam Wigan, BeYourSelf offers a unique combination of business savvy and personal development.

The programme asks businesses to consider the unique wellbeing of each of its team members, noting that a one-size-fits all approach cannot speak to the multiplicity of needs within their teams.  BeYourSelf provides a new framework for better understanding self and the ever-shifting internal and external horizons that impact wellbeing.  By exploring new ways of Being and Doing, BeYourSelf delivers individual transformation over time.  As a powerful group engagement, it also promotes increased connection, empathy and understanding among peers.

The result for employers and employees is better individual wellbeing, team productivity and organisational impact.

BeYourSelf is a series of workshops run over the course of a year.  Organisations can participate through two frameworks: Scale (for up to 200 participants across an entire business) or Focus (for cohorts of up to 20 people, for specific team and leadership development).

Renée and Sam worked with a cohort of Seven Hills team members throughout 2021, deploying a Focus model that allowed participants to take the time they needed to unpack what’s important professionally and personally in their lives.  The unanimously enthusiastic and positive feedback has confirmed the consolidation of our partnership with Beluga Bean.

The BeYourSelf approach aligns closely with and complements the theory of Seven Hills’ own MissionLab workshops. Both are designed for organisations to better articulate their purpose, with BeYourSelf’s model focused on internal organisational purpose articulated through individual self-awareness, where MissionLab delivers on the external brand purpose.

The outcomes of the BeYourSelf programme delivered significant cultural and business value for Seven Hills and will make up part of our wellbeing strategy moving forwards.
