Irene Kyme

Irene Kyme has worked in communications for over 10 years working across corporate and consumer communications, and financial services.

Irene leads Seven Hills’ work with Barclays advising the senior leadership team in High Growth and Entrepreneurs, developing relationships with hundreds of groups in the start-up community including accelerators, venture capitalists and academics.

She works on the World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention (WCEC) which will see the largest ever delegation of over 3000 Chinese business leaders come to the UK to make deals in a post Brexit landscape.

Irene started her career as a journalist for Sky News, BBC and Dispatches.  She reported undercover for Panorama on the on the mismanagement of a criminal tagging contract awarded to Serco and her work achieved front page new in the Mail on Sunday as well as BBC online.  She was a producer for Sky News’ Sunday Live with Adam Boulton programme, as well as Sunrise with Eamonn Holmes.

She has won multiple awards for her content work, setting up TV channels for Barclays and Deloitte, and has travelled around Africa, Europe and the UK covering stories for many different clients both within the CSR and commercial sphere.

Irene previously worked for Edelman, Teamspirit and Cicero, and is a PR and content specialist working for big established brands like Barclays, Deloitte and Standard Life, through to start-ups including Hometree and Brick Lane.
