M Squared has seized the title of ‘undisputed innovator of the year’ following victory at the Amazon Growing Business of the Year awards this week.
This follows victory at the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards, where it was named Samsung Innovator of the Year 2016, and at The Sunday Times Tech Track 100, where it was launched into the spotlight along with the UK’s fastest-growing technology companies.
Dr Graeme Malcolm OBE, M Squared’s CEO and co-founder, also received the highly prestigious Swan Medal this week. The medal is the highest honour bestowed by the Institute of Physics and is in recognition of his personal achievement in research and innovation in physics.
The business also won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation for its pioneering work with scientific laser technology – a crowning achievement for a business built on challenging conventional technologies.
Earlier this year, M Squared joined the ranks of Deliveroo, Metro Bank, Made.com and Open Bioninics when they were included in the Bloomberg Business Innovators 2016 and in the Everline Future 50.
Breakthroughs for M Squared’s technology have delivered on the business’s promise, with the launch of industry-leading lasers and photonics equipment winning acclaim from The Times, The Daily Telegraph, City AM and BBC News.
