Since joining Seven Hills, Maria has been an integral part of the Seven Hill’s Press Office team, driving media coverage across all of her clients – from profiles, broadcast to opinion editorial and news announcements.
Her work can be seen on top tier publications, including Bloomberg, BBC, Forbes, the Independent and the Evening Standard, to name a few.
Maria has been a crucial team member in helping plan, activate and deliver campaigns for clients, including Unmind, Strava, YPO, Mercato Metropolitano, Tech London Advocates & Global Tech Advocates.
She is also involved in some of Seven Hills’s pro bono work, including 56BlackMen, the campaign that is changing the negative stereotypes of black people in the UK – where she has driven media coverage to raise the profile of the movement’s founder, Cephas Williams.
After moving from Spain to study War Studies and History at King’s College London, Maria has also graduated from the London’s School of Economics and Political Science with an MSc in Media and Communications – specialising in strategic communication and postcolonial media studies.
Born in Portugal, Maria is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
