MISSION: How the Best in Business Break Through, the new book by Michael Hayman and Nick Giles, launched last night at The Corinthia Hotel with over 250 entrepreneurs, business leaders, influencers and public figures in attendance.
Hosted by the broadcaster Justin Webb, the event marked the official unveiling of the book, which goes on sale next week. Mission features interviews with business leaders including Airbnb co-founder Joe Gebbia, Whole Foods founder John Mackey and former M&S chief executive Lord Rose, and highlights the central role of commercial purpose in many of the world’s most successful brands.
The launch was addressed by Elizabeth Truss MP, Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, and contributors to Mission including Ella’s Kitchen founder Paul Lindley, Decoded co-founder Kathryn Parsons, WANdisco founder David Richards, Unruly co-founder Sarah Wood, dunnhumby co-founder Edwina Dunn, King of Shaves founder Will King, Tech London Advocates founder Russ Shaw and StartUp Britain co-founder Oli Barrett.
