One Young World is the unrivalled global community for young leaders with a mission to create a fair, sustainable future for all.

It develops young leaders who are taking action to solve the world’s big challenges by building their expertise, elevating their profiles and inspiring them to increase their impact.

Campaign

The One Young World Summit has been held in cities across the globe from Zurich to Bangkok, Ottawa to Bogotá. In 2022, the Summit will come to Manchester and bring together young leaders from 190+ countries, making it Manchester’s most international event ever.

More than 1,500 delegates attend the Summit each year, looking to tackle issues from climate change to conflict resolution. Delegates are joined by a line-up of Counsellors, which in previous years has featured the late Kofi Annan, Professor Muhammad Yunus, Justin Trudeau, Cher, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Sir Bob Geldof, and the Duchess of Sussex.

Seven Hills leads a comprehensive press agenda for One Young World, working with its Ambassadors and Counsellors to place opinion pieces, schedule interviews and co-ordinate press briefings.

Momentum

One Young World has built a network of more than 13,500 Ambassadors who have gone on to develop and lead initiatives benefitting 35.8 million people worldwide.

In 2021 alone, Ambassador projects mitigated 812,000 tonnes of CO2, supported 273,229 people experiencing poverty, and generated $558 million of social value.  Across the years, Ambassadors have run campaigns that successfully banned FGM in The Gambia, catalysed the LGBT movement in Iraq and lifted the ban on women drivers in Saudi Arabia.

The One Young World community has a constant presence across global media – from CNBC and Al Jazeera, to TIME, Fortune and the BBC.
