The campaign has spotlighted unsung heroes of the business community: home businesses. Seven Hills curated the Home Business 100 community, a snapshot of 100 entrepreneurs from across the UK running successful businesses from garages, living rooms and kitchen tables – all enabled by technology that allows flexible and efficient working practices.

A series of research reports produced by Seven Hills have highlighted this group’s economic contribution to the UK economy. ‘Heart of Home Business Britain’ and ‘Unlocking the UK’s Home Business Potential’ explored challenges to growth and guides for the home business community have addressed key issues and opportunities.

Accompanying launch events have brought together business leaders, representatives from government and small business organisations and not-for-profits to debate the best ways to encourage SME growth – with a focus on digital transformation.
