Extremely Together, an initiative created in partnership between One Young World and the Kofi Annan Foundation, was on stage this week at the 2016 One Young World Summit in Ottawa. Mr Annan was joined in Ottawa by seven of the Extremely Together young leaders; leaders with diverse experience in countering and preventing violent extremism in their communities.
Seven Hills hosted a press conference for Mr Annan and the inspiring young leaders, with 30 members of the international and Canadian press in attendance. Mr Annan was interviewed on Sky News in advance of the press conference, telling Dermot Murnaghan that there has been a ‘heartwrenching’ failure in Syria.
