Seven Hills supported BGF at a special event featuring Sir Chris Hoy MBE, Great Britain’s joint-most successful Olympic champion.
Sir Chris was interviewed by Seven Hills co-founder Michael Hayman in an exploration of the Olympic cyclist and entrepreneur’s career; which began aged seven racing on a BMX, his racing career, and the story behind his own start-up business – HOY Bikes.
It was a journey that resonated with the entrepreneurs in attendance as Sir Chris took them through the commitments he had to make to ensure that he was physically and mentally ready to compete on the world stage. He recalled having to completely change his training strategy to beat his personal best and the mental reset he had to make in order to take the risks that helped secure him six Olympic gold medals and 11 world titles.
