one young world’s first ever specialist summit

Next week, 500 young leaders will gather alongside experts from emae worlds of science, politics, the arts and business in the first of a series of expert events hosted by One Young World.

Seven Hills has coordinated the international media campaigns for five of One Young World’s annual global Summits, and will this year be supporting the first of the new specialist Summits, hosting a press trip of international journalists and driving global media coverage around the event. The Environment Summit will focus on collaborating to address the environmental challenges the world is facing, and will facilitate discussion, debate and networking to empower young leaders to take ownership of the change they want to see in the world.

The unique setting for the event at the Biosphere 2 in Tucson, Arizona, is set to inspire fresh thinking and new ideas from the delegates on a wide variety of topics, including changing weather patterns, renewable energy innovation and food security.

The initial speaker line-up includes the star of Entourage and The Devil Wears Prada and environmental campaigner Adrian Grenier; US Federal Chief Sustainability Officer, Christine Harada; Managing Director of WildAid, John Baker; former NASA astronaut and humanitarian, Rob Garan; Robert Swan OBE, polar explorer and UN Goodwill Ambassador for Youth, plus many more.

Aside from hearing from global figures, delegates will be able to make their own presentations and take part in workshops around the Biosphere.
