We actively encourage charitable work and volunteering to back all kinds of good causes. As a team we select a charity each year to focus our fundraising efforts – in 2022 it’s Blueprint For All – and get involved in national fundraising days like Football Shirt Friday. Every team member is offered one day per year to volunteer for an organisation of their choice.
We have a commitment to hybrid and flexible working, with Monday and Friday as remote working days for all. We also have early finishes on Fridays, and a short term salary advance if needed.
In addition to generous annual holiday entitlement, the company also closes over the Christmas and New Year period.
Throughout the year we invite great campaigners, entrepreneurs and leaders to visit and share their experiences with us. A brilliant chance to hear from inspiring people about the ideas that drive them.
Each month we recognise one person who has excelled in their work and contributed to the firm’s mission over the previous few weeks. Nominations are taken from the full team, with the winner awarded a prize worth up to £50.
We support continual learning of all team members and as such have an internal mentorship scheme, a development fund for externally based training of your choice, plus a culture fund to subsidise an activity of your choosing such as talks, exhibitions or shows.
We never miss an opportunity to mark a major milestone. Every birthday is celebrated with a cake and early leave, and every anniversary with champagne.
Each year we put together a vibrant calendar for the year ahead to ensure there are plenty of opportunities to come together as a team. This includes a New Year company breakfast, quarterly company socials, our summer sports day, meals for teams, and our Christmas party.
We are committed to fostering positive mental health and well-being at Seven Hills, with trained mental health first aiders within our team, peer-to-peer mentoring and tailored flexible working plans wherever necessary.
