Leigh Marshall

Director

Leigh has been working in public relations for more than 15 years. He specialises in supporting organisations to use communications to achieve their goals, promote their brand and protect their reputation. Through his background in politics and social policy, Leigh brings a deep understanding of the social and political landscape to his approach to communications.

At Seven Hills, Leigh focuses on developing and delivering campaigns that enable his clients to achieve their business objectives: whether that’s investors raising funds, tech companies scaling-up or third sector organisations reaching philanthropists and corporate partners. During the course of his career, Leigh has supported some of the world’s biggest and best-known brands, from adidas and Boeing to the John Lewis Partnership and Spotify.

Leigh is an experienced media trainer. He has prepared senior people from business for interviews on some of the country’s most high-profile media slots, from the Today Programme to the News at Ten. He has also trained spokespeople for appearances at Parliamentary select committee hearings.

Earlier in his career Leigh was Head of Communications at the National Centre for Social Research, an organisation that carries out research used by government to shape social policy in the UK. Before specialising in corporate communications, he worked for a political analysis firm, a Member of Parliament and for one of the UK’s oldest think tanks.
