Yesterday marked the start of the 10th Annual One Young World Summit, which has returned to London for its anniversary.
The Summit welcomed over 2,000 young leaders from over 190 countries to the Royal Albert Hall, during the opening ceremony which boasted a spectacular series of performances and speeches – including a welcome address from the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.
HRH The Duchess of Sussex was amongst Counsellors who took to the stage for the opening ceremony, along with others including Sir Bob Geldof, Paul Polman and Ellie Goulding.
This year’s summit runs from 23-25 October, with key themes including: planetary health, media freedom, poverty alleviation, education and a peaceful future.
