Seven Hills enters 2019 on the back of another change making year. In 2018 we worked on a fantastic array of campaigns and welcoming talented new members to our team.
Picking out our favourite moments of the year was no easy feat, so we asked six members of our team for their personal highlights.
Ed Tyler, Senior Editorial Executive
“Seven Hills celebrates the Change Makers… In April, Seven Hills hosted its inaugural Change Makers summit, an incredible experience to be involved in, hearing from some of the biggest names in enterprise, tech, politics and even a royal! I joined Seven Hills earlier that same month, and Change Makers re-affirmed to me what we are all about; campaigning for the leaders who make a difference.”
Hannah Pellatt, Design Studio Manager
“Learning from the best in business… It’s always nice to take time away from our desks where possible, and Seven Hills academy sessions are a great way to engage with incredible, purposeful business leaders. In 2018 we heard from the likes of Daisy Kendrick, Craig Beaumont, Jude Kelly, and Renée Elliott, founder of Planet Organic and Beluga Bean, whose positive message inspired the whole team.”
Sophie Currah, Campaign Executive
“The day the team went ape… We had a lot of socials last year, from the annual Seven Hills birthday breakfast in January to our brilliant Christmas party; but what really stood out was our summer away day. We braved the Berkshire trees at Go Ape with a Segway tour and a high ropes course. Seeing Michael and Nick swinging through the trees will definitely stay with me throughout 2019!”
Azmina Kassam, Management Accountant
“Completing my financial accountancy exams… After 17 exams over more than two years, I completed my financial accountancy exams this May. I would not have been able to do this without Seven Hills, who paid for my materials and were extremely flexible in allowing me time off to study for and take the exams. It was quite a journey and incredibly rewarding personally and professionally.”
Tabitha Miller, Marketing Executive
“Straying over with Battersea dogs and cats… We supported a number of charities in 2018, but a certain stand out of my year was our ‘stray over’ at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, sleeping in the spring showers to ultimately raise over £5,500 for the charity. We also raised money for HIV awareness, donated toys to the Salvation Army, participated in the JP Morgan charity fun run and hosted a Macmillan coffee morning.”
“Another year of team growth… One of the highlights of any year is being able to welcome new faces to the Seven Hills team. So many brilliant people joined the firm throughout the year across all levels and departments. This was one of the most important landmarks for the business in 2018 and I’m looking forward to seeing what 2019 has in store as we continue to build the team.”
