Tech London Advocates has delivered the London Tech Manifesto.
Partnering with some of the biggest voices in tech and business – techUK, Centre for London, London First, Here East and Plexal – Tech London Advocates presented the candidates for the London Mayoral election with a series of policy recommendations to ensure the continued success of the city’s tech sector.
Available here, the Manifesto informed a major virtual event – London’s Tech Manifesto for the 2020s. This was the only time during the election campaign that the four leading candidates spoke directly to London’s tech community.
Discussing issues ranging from the economic recovery, digital skills and digital infrastructure, the Mayoral candidates presented their vision for the future of London tech.
Tech leaders, investors and journalists then shared their reactions and perspectives on the biggest challenges and opportunities facing tech companies in London.
Featuring the likes of Lakestar, KPMG, Bethnal Green Ventures and a range of tech campaigners and activists, this was a chance for London tech to have a say during the Mayoral election.
